The Norma N. Gill Foundation (NNGF):
Bringing a better quality of life to people with ostomy, wound and continence needs around the world.

The NNGF Scholarships have been assisting Enterostomal Therapy Nurses for over two decades. During this time NNGF Scholarships have expanded the educational opportunities of Enterostomal Therapy Nurses all over the world. The NNGF honours the accomplishments of the late Norma N Gill, the pioneer of Enterostomal Therapy (ET) nursing.

There are 6 Scholarships that are available for WCET members based on criteria found on the application form.


ETNEP Scholarship

To assist nurses in attending a WCET recognised ETNEP/REP program


Marylyn McMANUS Scholarship

To be awarded to nurses from Africa.

In Cape Town, 2016, WCET EB decided to name this Scholarship in recognition of all Marylyn McManus' work with the WCET and NNGF and her very generous donations to the NNGF over the past 40 years.

 Marylyn McManus received from Susan Stelton, WCET President 2014-2018 
 recognition and congratulations as well as this new Scholarship bearing her name.





Membership Scholarship

To provide registered nurses with a one year WCET membership.


Educational Materials Scholarship

To provide assistance to obtain teaching materials for ET training


General Scholarship

To provide assistance to educators for on-site training in developing countries.


Congress Travel Scholarship

To enable nurses from emerging or developed countries to attend the biennial WCET Congress.
